Maybern has recently assisted Nelson Football Club, and its new owners with the redevelopment and improvement of the existing ground, Victoria Park which is located in a Conservation Area and partial flood zone to the adjacent river. Two separate full planning applications regarding new supporters shelters and a new sponsors lounge were both submitted to Pendle Borough Council in May 2022 and approved.

The provision of two covered supporters shelters, as well as a food and drink kiosk located behind the goal enables the club to provide enhanced facilities and shelter for supporters in covered areas. The development of a sponsors lounge, situated next to the main stand along the north side of the pitch, has provided the club with a unique private area for hospitality and other community- related events in a heated and covered environment.
