Following feedback to consultations on the proposal at Audlem Road (with CE Council, Hankelow Parish Council and local residents), the proposal has been subject to further review and changes.

The Scheme

The proposal is being progressed for 25 no. family homes on the southern area of the land via a single new access point only.  It will comprise a mix of 1 bed units, 2 bed houses, 2 no. bungalows, and 3, 4 and 5 bed houses.  8 no. units will be affordable units.  Public Open Spaces and landscaping areas will be provided across the site.

 The changes result from feedback and further technical review work of the site and:

- reduce the scale and number of units – removes the northern frontage development area

- accounts for drainage information received during the site technical review

- responds to highways/ traffic feedback – one access point only

- some feedback on need for wider local housing opportunities reflected – provision of affordable units and a mix of house sizes

The proposal is now being finalised for a planning application submission.
